Textile Production Reporting System
This program aims to analyze the current production recording system at PT. Mitrasetia Ekaperwira to identify weaknesses in the use of manual methods. It also seeks to formulate recommendations for a more efficient, accurate, and integrated information system to support faster and more effective management decision-making.
THE STORY
The development of this program was driven by the current woven fabric production recording process, which still relies on manual use of Microsoft Excel with daily copy-paste methods. This condition leads to a high risk of human error, longer processing time, difficulty in performing long-term data analysis, and the absence of an automated real-time reporting system.
MY APPROACH
The outcomes of the activity include an in-depth identification of operational issues and the design of a solution in the form of a centralized information system to replace Excel’s functions. The author developed technical frameworks such as flowcharts, use case diagrams, and database designs to enable automated reporting and more accurate data validation.
